The warm yellow Tuscan-hue is usually considered “a thing of Italy” rather than of a remote village in rural Oman.
And indeed it is this sublime light - “Noor” as so beautifully coined in Arabic - that breathes life to the listless contours and contrast adding a dreamlike visual walk along the slightly dust powdered sandy stone seven steps.
